Barbara Ann Foster, 70, of East Waterford, passed away January 6, 2026, in Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.  She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Douglas R. Foster.

Born February 17, 1955, in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur T. and Martha M. (Parsons) Harry.  Barbara was raised in Blairs Mills and graduated from Southern Huntingdon High School in 1973.

Mrs. Foster worked 20 years at Fannett-Metal High School serving as a secretary, library assistant and teacher's aide and her last 25 years of employment was as secretary of Lack Township in Juniata County.

In her younger years she enjoyed gardening.  She was fond of the outdoors and caring for flowers.  She is remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving with her husband, Doug, are 3 children: Jeramy Foster (Erin), Mifflintown, Joshua Foster, Honey Grove and Jennifer McGowan (Tom), Spring Run, 11 grandchildren, Cheyenne Woodward, Taylor Foster, Caleb Foster, Lane and Logan Robinson, Baylee Foster, Kierra Foster, Andrew Stalker, Adrianna Brown, Artie Foster and Jamison Foster, 2 great grandsons, Kayson and Artreus. Also surviving is a brother, Wilbur Milo Harry (Deb) of Blairs Mills and a dear friend, Kitty Storey of Port Royal.  She was preceded in death her daughter, Jessica Lynn Foster Stalker and a sister, Glovia DySylvester.

Viewing hours Friday, Jan. 9, 2026 between 6 and 8 PM and again Saturday morning after 9:30 AM followed by her service at 10:30 AM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, with Pastor Doug Lichty, officiating.  Interment Upper Tuscarora Cemetery.
