Bonnie E. Cornelious, 81, of Willow Hill, Pennsylvania, loved by the Path Valley Community she served so well, went home to her Lord on October 25, 2025.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren E. Cornelious, on November 3, 1989.

Born October 10, 1944, in Findlay, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Albert Martic, Sr. and Edith Carol (Frantz) Martic.

Dr. Cornelious was an educator, guidance counselor, and school administrator and retired as assistant superintendent from the West Perry School District, after serving Big Spring, Tuscarora, Shippensburg, and Greencastle school districts in her career.  She recently stepped down from her voluntary service on the Fannett-Metal School Board.

She was an active member of the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder, small group leader and served on the Mission and Outreach Committee, along with many other ministries of the church over the years.  She was also a board member for the Daisy Fund and a supporter of the Friends of Fannett-Metal Athletics.  Much of her love for the community was in the background, as she knew the various needs of many and offered generous support through counseling and financial assistance.

Surviving are 2 sons, W. Scott Cornelious, (Charee) of Aulander, NC and Philip J. Cornelious, (Denise) of Freeport, PA, 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, David, Riley and Madilyn and a great grandson, Aiden.  Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  Along with her parents and husband, Warren, she was also preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Jack and Mike Martic.

The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, from 9:30 AM until the Memorial Service, led by the Rev. Dr. Meagan Boozer, at 11 AM in the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church, 16950 Main St., PO Box 128, Spring Run, PA  17262.  Interment in Path Valley Cemetery is at the convenience of the family.  The omission of flowers is requested.  For those desiring to donate in Bonnie's memory, the family suggests either the church at the above address, or Path Valley Outreach, 11057 Creek Road, Fannettsburg, PA  17221.   www.agettlakjer.com
