Brenda L. Seidel, 58, of Blain, passed away peacefully in her home January 19, 2022, surrounded by her family.  She was the beloved wife of Daniel A. Seidel.

Born April 19, 1963, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Betty (Heller) Allen.  She was a 1981 graduate of West Perry High School.

Brenda was employed as a teacher's aide at West Perry for 28 years.  It was a labor of love that she deeply enjoyed as she interacted with the students, becoming a friend and mentor to many.

Brenda also enjoyed taking care of her goats on her farm she loved so much.  In the summertime she was busy tending her flower beds and enjoying the beauty of the earth.

Surviving with her husband, Dan, is a son, Isaac D. Seidel and a daughter, Megan M. Seidel and her husband, Youssef Baidane, all of Blain.  She adored her grandson, Anir Baidane.  Additional survivors include 3 sisters: Betty Lou Rapp and her husband, Jim, of Newport, Polly Owen and her husband, Robbie, of New Bloomfield and Carol Smith and her husband, Clif of Elliottsburg and 1 brother, Jason Allen and his wife, Tonie, of Blain.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at 2 PM in the Auditorium of West Perry High School, 2608 Shermans Valley Road, Elliottsburg, PA 17024, with visitation starting at 12 Noon.   In lieu of monetary donations, the family asks that you perform a random act of kindness in her honor.  www.agettlakjer.com
