Charles W. "Chuck" McClanahan, Jr., 68, of Fayetteville, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, went to be with his Lord and Saviour as well as many loved ones that had went before, November 12, 2024, in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born June 2, 1956, in Arlington, Virginia, he was the son of Marie Kincaid and the late Charles William McClanahan, Sr.

Chuck graduated from High Point High School in Beltsville, Maryland in 1974, and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.

Mr. McClanahan was a transport driver for Roxbury Treatment Center, Shippensburg.  Previously, for 24 years, he owned and operated a drug and alcohol treatment facility for at-risk youth in Warfordsburg, PA, known as "There's Room in the Inn Boys' Ranch." This was a defining moment in the McClanahan family.  Chuck and Christine operated the "Boys Ranch" for nearly two and a half decades, meeting and changing countless lives along the way.

Chuck was a member of King Street Church, Chambersburg.

In addition to his mother, surviving is his wife of 45 years, Christine R. (Dunn) McClanahan, children, Charles W. McClanahan III (Ashley) of Everett, PA, Amanda Susan McClanahan, (Jerry Bates), Fayetteville, David Hampton McClanahan (Natalie) Laramie, Wyoming, and Daniel James McClanahan (Alexis), Pittsburgh, PA.   Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Karis, Quinn, Jocelyn, Jude, Isabelle, Emmaline and Royce, his sister, Debra Brake (John), Nashville, Tennessee and nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Chuck's Life will be held December 13, 2024 in King Street Church, 162 E. King St., Chambersburg, PA where the family will receive friends beginning at 5 PM followed by a memorial service at 6 PM.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to "The American Diabetes Association".    www.agettlakjer.com
