Clair F. Campbell, 91, lovingly referred to as Pete, passed away on January 30th, 2025, in his home in Blairs Mills.

Born on September 28, 1933, in Juniata County, he was the son of the late Foster and Cora (Whitsel) Campbell. He was united in marriage to Joyce Campbell September 12th, 1987.

He is survived by his son, Mark Campbell and wife Cristy (Aaron, Daisy, Rebecca) of Blairs Mills, daughter Crystal Taylor (Caleb, Brooke, Braden) of Blairs Mills, daughter Jenny Campbell and husband Brian (Megan, Darren) of Newport, and daughter Tanya Parson and husband Martin Jr. (Coral and Levi McMath, Martin III and Devan Parson) of Willow Hill.

From a prior marriage, he is survived by his daughter Cindy Bender and husband Jeff of Fayetteville, son Steve Campbell and wife Tammy of East Waterford, son Rodney Campbell and wife Betty Ann of Fayetteville.

He is survived by a sister, Vivian Berrier of East Waterford, and Donna (Tom) Harrison of Fayetteville. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Ronald, Donald, and Robert Campbell. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Sherlock.

He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

He was a United States Army Veteran, proudly serving from March 19th, 1953 to June 1st, 1955. Following his service in the military, he was employed at Letterkenny Army Depot. in Chambersburg, PA. He was a paint supervisor for over 36 years. He enjoyed painting and restoring tractors; especially Farmalls. He also enjoyed farming, riding the side by side, home-cooked meals from his wife, having everyone home for the holidays, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was always active, and enjoyed being outdoors. He spent much of his time sitting on the porch and watching the cars pass by. He has overcome and experienced much over his 91 years.

Funeral arrangements will be privately held at the convenience of immediate family.
