Connie L. Bechtel, 73, of Shippensburg, passed away October 4, 2023, in Carlisle Hospital.  She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Harold L. Bechtel.

Born November 27, 1949, in Fannett Township, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Albert and Louella Mae (Crothers) Miley.

In her earlier years, Mrs. Bechtel worked at the former L'Aiglon Sewing Factory on Lurgan Ave. in Shippensburg.  Later she was manager and co-owner with her husband of Connie B's Tavern in Shippensburg and her last employment was with Varner's Country Store in Roxbury.

Surviving with her husband, Harold, is a son, Jeffery Swailes, of Shippensburg and her beloved dog, Diesel.
