Connie S. Shipley, 59, of Shade Gap, passed away September 22, 2021 in the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg, of a Covid related illness.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Barry E. Shipley.

Born in Waynesboro she was a daughter of Lovues LaVern (Moats) Hahn of Waynesboro and the late George Edward Hahn.  Connie graduated from Waynesboro High School in1980.  When her children were young she volunteered as a teacher's aide at St. Thomas Elementary and Southern Huntingdon School District.  She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Surviving with her husband and mother are 2 children: Kye A. Shipley of Mercersburg and Amber N. Shipley of Middletown; 2 grandchildren, Hailey M. Alfieri and Maverick M. Lawrence; 3 brothers and their families: David Hahn, his wife, Tina, and their children, Janice Dillow and Matthew Hahn; Mark Hahn and his wife, Tina, and their son, Brandon all of Waynesboro; Daniel Hahn also of Waynesboro and his daughter, Nikki Biddinger of Mercersburg.
