Daniel A. Hampton, 64, of Mifflin, a former long-time resident of East Waterford, passed away June 24, 2026, in his home.

Dan was born June 14, 1962, in Lewistown, a son of the late Dale M. and Catherine Nettie (Dutrey) Hampton. He attended Juniata Senior High School.

He was a retired construction worker and had worked for many years for Gleims Construction of Carlisle.

In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and in retirement, his morning routine was being at the river with his buddies enjoying their friendship.

Surviving is his daughter, Cassandra Trego (Tanner Brown) of Port Royal, 2 brothers, Dale Hampton, East Waterford and Deric Hampton (Natasha), Mifflintown, 3 sisters, Dena Hampton, East Waterford, Dina Hampton (Brian Clouser), East Waterford and Dawn Hampton, Shippensburg and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dale M. and Catherine N. Hampton, he was also preceded in death by a brother, David P. Hampton in 2023.

A memorial service with Pastor Judy Rowles officiating will be at the convenience of the family and close friends in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home in Spring Run. Should friends desire, donations may be given to the family. www.agettlakjer.com
