Daran Mark Pogue, 59, of Fort Loudon,  died January 18, 2021 at his home in Metal Township where he resided with his life partner, Sandra L. Shover.

Daran was born April  7, 1961 in Chambersburg, a son of Gerald L. Pogue and Sandra L. (Adams) Pogue of Chambersburg.

He graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1979 and worked as a welder for Ingersoll Rand, Shippensburg, until becoming disabled.

Daran loved to hunt and fish and had a fervent interest and respect for Native American artifacts and lore and also politics. He was a member of the American Legion Wesley Yeager Post 606, Fort Loudon, and the Mason Dixon Knife Club, Hagerstown, MD.

Surviving with his parents and life partner,  is his step mother, Barbara Pogue;  1 sister, Lori Downin;  nephew Dustin Downin;   grandmother, Virginia Adams;  uncle Ronald L. Adams, Jr. and aunt, Yvonne Sue Kuhn, all of Chambersburg.
