Darla Jean Ingram, 81, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on November 13, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family and close friend, Mrs. Carol Clapper.

Darla was born on December 26, 1942, in Waukegan, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Bernard Smith and Dora (Mears) Smith.

Darla was employed in various positions throughout the U.S. government over her lifetime. Her last employer was Securitas Security for Volvo of Shippensburg, PA, where she worked until retiring in 2015.

Darla is survived by her husband of 12 years, Michael S. Ingram, of Chambersburg, PA; her daughter, Lizabeth Castro and husband, Michael, of Chambersburg; granddaughters, Mandi Castro of Columbus, Ohio, and Crystal Castro of Chambersburg; grandson, Terry Castro of Chambersburg, PA; as well as several great-granddaughters and great-grandsons.

The family will receive friends on December 7th 2024, from 1pm to 3 pm at Hamilton Heights God's Missionary Church, 1699 Johnson Road, Chambersburg PA, for a celebration of life.
