David Bruce Daywalt, 69, of South Mountain, passed away February 10, 2026, in Waynesboro Hospital.

He was born October 15, 1956, in Chambersburg, a son of the late Allen Edward and Della Eugenia (Barnes) Daywalt.

Following his education, he worked as a mason until becoming disabled following an accident when he was 21.

David was a faithful former attender at South Mountain Bible Church.

Surviving is his sister, Robin Carmello, and a brother, Timothy Daywalt, both of South Mountain and special nieces, Amy & Becky along with Brittany and nephews, Abel of Texas and Letgie of S. Carolina and cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Daywalt and sister, Melissa Kipiel.
