Deborah Jean Smith, 75, passed away April 5, 2026 in Brookline Healthcare, Mifflintown, where she resided since December, 2025.

She was born on December 15, 1950, in Baltimore and resided there all her life until moving to Lewistown, PA in 1995.  Her parents were the late Ashland and Clara (Brumfield) Sherman.

Deborah had worked in hospitality as well as construction.  She loved her family, particularly her 9 grand and 4 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are 2 daughters, Karen L. McIntrye and Candace Smith, both of Lewistown and 1 brother, Carl Sherman of Baltimore.

She was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Jones and also by 2 brothers and 6 sisters.
