Donald J. McCormick, 70, went to be with the Lord in his Fort Loudon home on April 21, 2025.  He had been under hospice care.

Don was born September 20, 1954, in Chambersburg, a son of the late John A. and Lucille (Carlin) McCormick.  He graduated from Fannett-Metal High School in 1972 and continued his education at Nashville Auto Diesel College completing a 2-year program.  He retired as a diesel mechanic and truck driver.

He was a member of Pentecostal Freedom Church and recently became an honorary deacon.

Surviving is his wife, Vicky L. (Briggs) McCormick and 2 stepchildren, Nicole Jones (Wayne) and their children, Josh, McKenzie and Dustin of Neelyton and Jason Peterson (Ashley) and their children, Gunner and Laney, of Burnt Cabins and 3 great grandchildren, Jace, Hayden and Eli.

Also surviving is his twin brother, Ronald R. McCormick of Fort Loudon.  He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Doug McCormick.

Don's viewing will be Thursday, April 24, 2025, beginning at 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 AM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, PA.  Pastor Richard Hamman will officiate.  The family will attend the interment in Stenger Hill Cemetery in Fort Loudon.
