Donald C. Miller, 83, a lifelong resident of Concord, passed unexpectedly on November 17, 2024, in his home.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie (Rosenberry) Miller in 2016.

Born February 12, 1941 in Concord, he was a son of the late Ralph and Leatha (Miller) Miller.  He graduated from Fannett-Metal High School, Class of 1959.

Don began working the family farm and hauling milk cans for 10 years.  For the next 23 years, he was employed with the former DeRose Industries in Chambersburg, which became U.S. Housing, where he continued for 7 years.  He retired in 2018, after driving 21 years for the Postal Service.  In addition, he and his wife, Bonnie, owned school buses for 31 years.

Don was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, especially at Parent Lake in Canada.  Spending time on a lake river or in the mountains was just where he wanted to be.  Cutting wood and hunting were also among his favorite activities.

Surviving are 3 children; Karen D. Rehn and husband, Arthur, of Westminster, MD; Keith S. Miller and wife, Tammy of Clarksville, TN and Kevin D. Miller of Concord; 4 grandchildren, Nathan Goshorn and Megan Goshorn of Chambersburg, Katrina Richardson, and Kenneth Miller and wife, Ning, all of Clarksville, TN and 4 great grandchildren, Jacob Goshorn, of Chambersburg, Kaiya Richardson, Kennedy Miller,  and Kingston Andolini, all of Clarksville, TN.  Also surviving are 4 brothers, Ray (Jane) of Lewistown, Marvin (Linda) of Chambersburg, Robert of Chambersburg and Lloyd (Linda) of Concord, and a sister, Nancy Miller, of Carmel, NY.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Eva Miller and sisters-in-law, Diane Miller and June Miller.

Viewing hours only Wed., Nov. 20, 2024, between 6 and 8 PM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run.  His Memorial Service will be Thurs. at 11 AM with Pastor Marlin "Butch" Neil, officiating.  Interment Concord Union Cemetery.
