Donald Eugene "Pap" Adams, 81, of Chambersburg, formerly of Shippensburg, passed away May 26, 2024 in Mercy House, Chambersburg.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Lee (Hull) Adams.

Born July 4, 1942 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Johnny Shannon and Elizabeth Adams.  Donald was a truck driver for numerous businesses and industries in the area until retiring. He loved being in the mountains, hunting deer, and picking mushrooms were some of his favorite things outside.  Inside, it was Nascar, football and Western movies.

Surviving with his wife are 4 children: Deborah Lynn Adams of St. Thomas, David " Bull" Adams, (Ginny) of Chambersburg, Kimberly Welkner, (Robert) of St. Thomas and Michael "Bo" Adams, (Athena) of Jim Thorpe; 1 brother, Rick Rhoads, (Suzanne) of Shippensburg;  4 grandchildren, Dustin Gettel, Tiffany Rotz (Jeremy), Megan Hughes and Shayla Starliper and 6 great grandchildren, Corrine, Arianna, Malik, Brooklynn, Aubree and his little angel, Harlow.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Rhoads, and an infant sister at birth.
