Edith F. McClure, 87, of Horse Valley Road, East Waterford, went to the Lord, asleep in her home on April 12, 2024.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Paul W. McClure.

Born April 21, 1936, in Cross Keys, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late Ellis "Skip" and Esther (Naugle) Flood.  She graduated from Juniata High School in 1954.

Edith was a dedicated school bus driver for many years.  She was a member of the Dry Run Covenant Brethren Church.  Mrs. McClure was an avid knitter and enjoyed making hats for infants as well as for Operation Christmas Child, a Samaritans Purse Shoebox Ministry.

Surviving with her husband, Paul, are 2 daughters: Esther M. Carey and her husband Kevin, of Phoenixville, PA and Paula Beaston and her husband Glenn, of Horse Valley,  4 grandchildren, Shawn Beaston, Shana Proctor, Ryan Carey and Kyle Carey and  6 great grandchildren, Gia, Zoey and Tripp Proctor, and Luke, Murphy and Riley Carey.  Also surviving is a brother, Clarence Flood in Florida.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Rotay and a brother, Dervin, who was young.

A memorial service will be held in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, Thursday, April 18, at 11 AM, where the family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service.
