Elizabeth Ann Rogers, "Liz, Lizzy", of Shade Gap and former long time resident of Lewistown, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 27, 2023. She was born in Lewistown on May 3, 1982. She spent most of her life residing in the village of Hawstone. She is the daughter of Virginia "Jenny" P. Beers-Wileman of Shade Gap and the late James I. Wileman, Sr.

Liz graduated from high school in Lewistown and from the Juniata-Mifflin County Area Vocational Technology School in Animal Science. She had been employed as a dog groomer for Ernest Hill Kennels in Mifflin and was a Hab Aide for several years with Skills, Inc. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Liz was loved by her family and many friends.

In addition to her mother, Virginia, surviving is a daughter, Danyka A. Rogers of Shafe Gap and a sister, Sherry L. Lease of Lewistown, several generations of nieces and nephews, including Christopher M. Peterson, Jr.  of Shade Gap, her best friend, and a cousin, Heidi Miller, of Mifflintown.  Also surviving is her former husband, Aaron Rogers of Lewistown.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her brother, James "Jimmer" I. Wileman, Jr.
