Ethel W. Distefano Wilt, 71, passed away February 26, 2026, in Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.  She lived in Mifflintown prior to entering the nursing home a little over 2 years ago and was formerly of Harrisburg. She enjoyed the activities at the nursing home including Bingo.

Born June 13, 1954, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas Carmen and Irene Nanthley (Kent) Distefano.  She graduated in the class of 1973 from John Harris High School, Harrisburg.

Ethel was a certified nursing assistant formerly employed with Dauphin Manor and Manor Care both in Harrisburg.

She was a member of Mifflintown Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Surviving is her husband, Marlin G. Wilt of Richfield and daughter Nanthley E. Martinez and husband Mario of Richfield.  Also surviving are 3 sisters, Patricia Colosimo Noll, Level Green, PA, Norma Jean Colosimo L. Frey, Hanover, PA and Pamela Distefano Musser, Myrtle Beach, SC. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Colosimo and sister Betty Jo Colosimo Stine Long.

A Memorial Service will be held in Mifflintown Seventh-day Adventist Church, 23547  Rt. 35 N. Mifflintown at 1 PM on March 8, 2026, with Pastor Paul Wasmer, officiating. A meal will follow the service.
