Ethel M. Parks, 94, a lifelong resident of Willow Hill, went to be with the Lord in her home on May 9, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert M. Parks, in 1993.

Born January 27, 1930, in Willow Hill, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Irma (Guyer) O'Donnell.

Ethel was a seamstress and previously worked in sewing factories.  She was an active and faithful member of Spring Run Bible Church, where she helped with meals and served in various ways to honor her Lord and the church.   She also enjoyed gospel country music.

Surviving is a brother, Harold "Sonny" O'Donnell of Spring Run and a sister, Genevieve Taylor of Chambersburg.  Also surviving are 3 nephews, Clay, Robert (Dianna) and Leonard Hockenberry, 2 great nephews, Zac (Amanda) and Justin (Kaitlyn) Hockenberry, 3 great, great nieces, Emmylou, Maddison and Paislee, a great, great nephew, Cole, and dear, close friends, Ruth and John Semple.   In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Dallas O'Donnell, 2 sisters, Naomi Hockenberry and Dorothy Keefer and a  brother, William Boggs.

Viewing Monday, May 13, between 6 and 8 PM in the Spring Run Bible Church, 20722 Hammond Road, Spring Run, PA 17262 and again Tuesday morning after 10 AM followed by the funeral service at 11 AM, with Pastors Ryan Henderson and John Semple officiating.  Interment Path Valley Cemetery.   Contributions in her memory may be made to the Spring Run Bible Church.   www.agettlakjer.com
