Frank Albert Spidle, 82, of Spring Run, passed away at home on February 9, 2026, surrounded by his family.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith E. (Dunlap) Spidle.

Frank was born November 11, 1943, in Chambersburg, a son of the late Harry and Martha (Triesh) Spidle.  He formerly resided in Newburg, Shippensburg and Waynesboro, prior to moving to Spring Run and  had attended Newburg First Church of God and Mt. Rock Church, Shippensburg.

Mr. Spidle had worked as a grinder at SGL Abrasives, Inc. of Carlisle until becoming disabled.

Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding horses, working on vehicles, especially classic cars and trucks and spending time with his family.

Surviving is his daughter and son-in-law, Nanette and Jason Fetterhoff, with whom he resided in Spring Run, a granddaughter, Julie Spidle (Ryan Hockenberry) and grandsons, Nathan and Josh Fetterhoff and Bruce Spidle.  Also surviving is a sister, Anna Jane Freeman of Gettysburg.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John, Harry "Ike" and Gilson Spidle and a sister, Kathryn E. "Molly" Patterson.
