Glenford James Amstutz, 73, of Spring Run, PA, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, April 24, 2024.  Glenford was born in Orrville, Ohio, February 4, 1951 to Marvin L. and Etta O. (Nussbaum) Amstutz.  Through his service in the 1-W program, he met Marie Wadel whom he married on October 29, 1971.  She preceded him in death on Nov. 8, 2023.

Glenford is survived by 4 children, Melanie Martin of Pleasant Hall, PA, Gordon Amstutz (Gwendolyn) of Bamberg, SC, Melisa Clapper (Dwight) of Dallas Center, IA and Marjorie Hartzler (Jeffrey) of Belleville, PA, 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Also surviving are 4 brothers, Clinton Amstutz, Maurice Amstutz, Arthur Amstutz and Warren Amstutz; 6 sisters, Bernice Jones, Lola Horst, his twin, Gladys Yoder, Marvetta Weaver, Alice Weaver, and Laura Ramer.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Cletus Amstutz and Alfred Amstutz.

He was employed as a service technician for many years at Witmer Implement Service and Mountain Air Garage Doors.

Glenford was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in July of 1982 and served diligently in that capacity for over 40 years.  He consistently reached out with a servant's heart to those in need.  He lived a life of surrender and acceptance of God's plan for him.

Viewing hours for family and friends are scheduled for Monday, April 29, between 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run.  The funeral service will be held in the Amberson United Methodist Church, 18889 Amberson Road, Spring Run, PA, on Tuesday, April 30 at 10 AM with a viewing 1 hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Cornerstone Chapel Cemetery, Amberson.
