Glenn L. Campbell, a long time resident of Doylesburg, passed away at Mennohaven, Chambersburg, on his 86 ^th birthday, June 12, 2022.  He was the loving husband of Betty (Kling) Campbell and they would have observed their 67 ^th wedding anniversary in July.

He was born June 12, 1936, in Doylesburg, a son of the late Frederick H. and Dorothy (Goshorn) Campbell.  After graduating from Fannett-Metal High School he continued his education at the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Penn College of Technology where he studied mechanics.

A skilled mechanic, Glenn owned and operated Campbell's Garage in Doylesburg  which he started in 1960 serving customers for many years.  In addition, he worked for Penn Dot in Franklin County as equipment manager, retiring in 1996 after 25 years of service.    His passion was automobiles and for a number of years, he owned a race car which raced at the Path Valley Speedway and he also restored tractors.

He was a member and faithful trustee at the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church, Spring Run and had served in various capacities on the Fannett-Metal School Board.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Betty, are 4 children, sons, George of East Waterford, Steve and his wife, Sharon, of Edenville and Keith and his wife, Kim of Red Lion and a daughter, Sherry Baldassari and her husband, Roy, of Chambersburg; 3 grandchildren, Andy, Whitney and Ryan Campbell and 3 great granddaughters, Anneleigh, Margaret and Olivia. Additional survivors include 2 brothers, James and his wife, Mary June and Ralph and his wife, Doris, all of Doylesburg, 3 sisters, Doris Crider of Fannettsburg, Norma Rosenberry of Shippensburg and Velma Trego of Mifflintown and nieces and nephews.

The family sincerely thanks the staff at Mennohaven for the excellent care provided for Glenn.

Viewing Saturday, June 18 between 4 and 6 PM and Sunday, after 1 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, with Rev. Dr. Meagan M. Boozer and Rev.
