Glenn R. Love, 90, a lifelong resident of East Waterford, entered into rest, Dec. 7, 2022, in Geisinger Lewistown Hospital.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Ivamae (Kirk) Love.

Born July 22, 1932, in Chambersburg, he was the only child of the late George Washington and Eleanor B. (Doyle) Love. He graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1951.

He was the proprietor of the Glenn R. Love Insurance Agency, having started the business in 1957 and he sold insurance for over 64 years.  He was the third-generation lifetime farmer on the family farm in Lack Township, where he also sold barn related equipment with his father and son.  Glenn was the recipient of the American Farmer Degree in 1954.

He was a member of the Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Church.  Glenn was the last surviving charter member of the Blairs Mills Lions Club and had been presented with the Melvin Jones Award. He was a lifetime member of Union Lodge # 324 F&AM and Juniata Valley Forest # 88 Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and was a 32 ^nd Degree Mason, Harrisburg Consistory.  Glenn's memberships also included the American Legion McCartney Post 232, Dry Run and he was a life-time member of the Holstein Friesian Association of America.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, Ivamae, are a son, Joel K. Love and his wife, Carol, of East Waterford and a daughter, Kimberly Ann Benner and her husband, Fred, of Mifflintown, 2 granddaughters, Eleanor G. Benner and her husband, David L. Bemer, of Wayne and Emily B. Nice and her husband, Brent F., of Mifflintown and 3 great grandchildren, Olivia G. Bemer, Wyatt F. Nice and Brooks F. Nice.

Viewing Monday, Dec.12, 2022 after 10 AM followed by the funeral service at 11 in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, PA with Pastor Darwin Goshorn officiating.  Interment East Waterford Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to either the Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Church, c/o Jeanette St. Clair, 17566 Mountain Spur Road, Blairs Mills, PA  17213 or to Lack Tuscarora EMS, P.O.
