Gloria Sue Daniels, 79, of Ewing, Virginia, passed away February 13, 2025, at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and John Wathen, in Mercersburg, PA with family by her side.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Essie Clofus Daniels in 1980.

Born April 25, 1945, in Ewing, Lee County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Earl K. and Bonnie M. (Bledsoe) Taylor.  She lived for many years in Hudson, Florida.

Surviving are her 4 children: Patricia Lazarz (John Jr.), Eddie Daniels (Ruby), Gloria Wathen (John) and Larry Daniels (Stephanie) and 12 grandchildren, William Daniels, Jessica Lazarz,  John  Lazarz, Michael Daniels, Larry Daniels, Ashley Jordan, Brandon Daniels, Landon Daniels, Amanda Holman, Jackie Muto , Marcus Dixon and Mikey Dixon, 11 great grandchildren, MacKenzie Daniels, Shyanne Swearingen, Alexander Jordan, Jade Jordan, Sebastian Swearingen, Harper Daniels, Lincoln Daniels, Hunter Daniels, Emberlyn Daniels, Rosey Wathen and Penelope Lazarz.  Also surviving is her brother, Larry Taylor.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by 2 sons, William and Curtis Daniels and a sister, Janice Dillman.

A viewing and time of remembrance will be held in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, PA, Saturday, February 15 between 4 and 6 PM.  Interment will be in the Yeary-Brooks Cemetery, Ewing, Virginia   www.agettlakjer.com
