James W. "Jim" Clouser, 88, a lifetime resident of East Waterford, PA, was promoted to his eternal home with the Lord on January 5, 2 022, during his stay at the Chambersburg Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 y ears, Sara L. (Peck) Clouser in 2015.

Born November 12, 1933, in Fannett Township, Franklin County, he was a son of the late Emory and Edith V. (Fortney) Clouser. During his younger years, he was employed at Letterkenny. Most of his working career was spent as a pipeliner until retirement.

He attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Maze, PA. He's been a long time believer in Jesus Christ as his Savior and life everlasting.

His many passions included raising standardbred racehorses, deer hunting and time well spent with his family. The source of his greatest pride and joy was time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are four children, Treva L. Parker, (husband Andrew) of East Waterford, James E. Clouser (wife Inessa) of Bloomingburg, NY, Bradley W . Clouser, (companion Hazel) Thompsonville, NY, and Susan Armstrong (husband Jack) Lebanon, PA; 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Hazel Burdge of East Waterford, Sarah Overcash of Chambersburg and late life companion and friend, Peggy Guyer of East Waterford. In addition to his wife, Sara, he was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Pearl and Bertha and 4 brothers, Paul, Emory, Michael and John.

His funeral service will be held at Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, PA, on Sat., Jan. 8, 2022, at 12 Noon, with Pastor William Luckadoo and Pastor Dan Rockwell officiating. Viewing is Friday 6 to 8 PM and Saturday 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Concord Union Cemetery. www.agettlakjer.com
