Janet Rae Swain, "Judy," 84, of Amberson, PA, formerly of Lincoln, Delaware, went to be with our Lord on January 11, 2026, at 9:50 PM.  She was the beloved wife of the late G. Walter Swain, who owned Swain Construction in Lincoln, DE.

Born April 2, 1941, in Cottontown, TN she was a daughter of the late James Raymond King and Ruby Lucille King-Monach and her beloved poppa, Rod Monach, who she was also proud to call Dad after the passing of James King.

Judy, as most people knew her, was an avid bowler at the Milford Bowling Alley.  They were known as "the Hustlers."  She and her bestie, Rose Pollard, were often seen around town hanging wallpaper, even though they each had their own wallpapering business.

Judy and her husband, Walt, were often seen at the Harness Track with their partners/trainer/driver Joe and Linda MacDonald.  They had many winning horses, Lincoln Bandit, Lincoln Rocket and St. Pats Promise, to name a few.

Walt and Judy were the proud owners of the Milford Putt-a-Rosa, a mini golf course, batting cages, and skateboard park, where she was known as Mrs. Judy. They held several Delaware State Horseshoe Tournaments at the Putt-a-Rosa.

Judy also loved spending time crocheting, coloring and reading.

She is survived by a son, Robert J. Wilson, wife Robin;  granddaughter, Carmen Wilson Edwards, husband, Roy; daughter, Kimberly J. Wilson Rogers, husband, Ed; grandson, Michael Rogers, Cara Horner; grandson, Brandon Rogers, wife Beth; granddaughter, Caitlin Rogers Creed, husband John; daughter, Karen White Pechart, husband, Shawn; grandson, Sheldon "Scott" Cohick, wife Jessica; grandson, Sean Swain Cohick, wife Lauren; daughter, Kelly Rae White Peregoy; Charles "Chip " Peregoy; and  grandson, Trea Peregoy, wife Taylor.   Additional survivors include her sisters, Kathi Delmore, husband, Jerry, and Kristy Giardinelli, husband John, and a niece, Sheree Lynch, husband Leonard.

In addition to her husband and parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings, a brother, James R. King II "Little Jimmy," a sister, Barbara LaFave and granddaughter, Brianna Edwards.  Judy left this world, but was very blessed, leaving a beautiful legacy of 18 great grandchildren, to carry on in her memory, She will be missed but never forgotten……To the moon and back until forever .

Services will be held in Milford, DE with interment in Lincoln Cemetery.   In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for contributions to be made to the Lincoln Cemetery Fund, at PO Box 1, Lincoln, DE 19960.
