Jay Keen, 63, of Philadelphia, died Sept. 25, 2023 in Temple University Hospital.  He was born July 9, 1960 in West Chester, PA, a son of Loretta M. (Culbertson) Keen of East Waterford and the late Harry E. "Tree Top" Keen, who passed away in January of this year.

Jay grew up in Modena, Chester County, and attended Coatesville area schools.  He worked as an all-around handyman, skilled in a number of trades.  He was of the Catholic Faith.

In his earlier days, he loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed spending time at the family home in Lack Township, Juniata County.

Surviving with his mother, Loretta, are 2 brothers, Harry E. Keen, Jr. and his wife, Millie, of Coatesville, and Victor Keen and his wife, Margaret "Peggy" of Haledon, NJ and a sister, Wendy Keen of Elverson, PA. and several generations of nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a sister-in-law, Michelle Keen of Gap, PA.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vicki Elvin and a brother, Wendell Keen.
