Jeffrey Lee Bricker, 69, a lifelong resident and beloved member of the Fannettsburg community, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family in Mercy House, Chambersburg, on October 2, 2024.

Born February 1, 1955, in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Walter Lee and Caroline Audrey (Truax) Bricker.  He graduated from Fannett Metal and Franklin County Vo-tech in 1973 and through the co-op, worked at Gipe's Service in Fannettsburg. After that he took employment at Exxon on the PA Turnpike until beginning his career at Letterkenny Army Depot, from which he retired after many years of service.

A devoted fireman, Jeff first served as deputy chief of Fannett-Metal Fire Co., Dry Run, until transitioning to Metal Fire and Ambulance Co., Fannettsburg, as a charter and life member, also serving as deputy chief.  He further served his community volunteering as superintendent and caretaker of Lower Path Valley Cemetery for many years.

He is fondly remembered as a good neighbor, helping folks in the community in various ways. He had a heart of gold, was generous and a straight shooter!  From his school days and the rest of his life, he is remembered for his fast and responsive wit and sometimes being a bit ornery along with his sense of humor. Tractors and attending tractor shows, along with spending time in the outdoors, brought him much enjoyment.

Surviving is his daughter, Annaleigh F. Benoit "Little Girl" and her husband, Mark Keeseman, of Shippensburg and grandchildren, Natalie and Aspen Keeseman.  Also surviving is his wife, Michelle L. (Lacarte) Bricker.

Viewing Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, between 5 and 7 PM in Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run.  Additional viewing Monday at the funeral home after 10 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11 AM with Pastor Darwin Goshorn officiating.  Interment Lower Path Valley Cemetery, Fannettsburg.  Donations in memory of Jeff may be made to Metal Fire and Ambulance Co., PO Box 185, Fannettsburg, PA 17221.     www.agettlakjer.com
