Kerry E. Dick, 71, of Orrtanna, PA, passed away peacefully October 17, 2024, in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born March 27, 1953, in McConnellsburg, he was a son of the late Albert M. and Glendora L. (Black) Dick.

Kerry was a 1970 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School.  During his lifetime he worked in the Somerset coal mines, at several sawmills and as a heavy equipment operator for various construction companies.  In his later years, he worked for Klingler Family Sawmill and then for L + H Mechanical and Electrical Services.

Surviving are 2 children: Albert Blair of Chambersburg and Christina Ford and husband, Brett of Harrisonville, 6 grandchildren, Jarred Dively and wife, Cynthia of Claysburg, Autumn Wampler and husband, Matthias of Mercersburg, Brett Ford, Jr., Adeline Ford, Amber Ford and April Ford all of Harrisonville, 1 great granddaughter, Elsie Wampler and 2 sisters, Judy Park and husband, Dave of Hagerstown and Darcy MacNamara of Wellsville. Also surviving is a dear friend, Gloria Rickrode of Biglerville.  He was preceded in death by 4 sisters, Lana Park, Marcia Keener, Roma Dick and Mona Keebaugh and 2 brothers, Gary Dick and Larry Dick.

He enjoyed classic country and bluegrass music, fishing, hunting, racing his Mustang, auto repair, old tractors, truck and tractor pulls, western movies and woodworking.  Kerry will be remembered for his excellent work ethic and willingness to help others.

Funeral services were held at Mountain Top Ministries, Orrtanna, PA, with Pastor Ken Reid officiating. Interment Sideling Hill Christian Church Cemetery, Needmore, Licking Creek Twp., PA.   www.agettlakjer.com
