Kevin Ray Bumbaugh, 49, of Waynesboro, passed away October 16, 2026, in Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill, PA. He was the husband of Heather M. (Triesh) Bumbaugh.

Born December 31, 1976, in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late Ray and Linda (Cole) Bumbaugh. He graduated from Waynesboro High School in 1996.

Kevin was a forklift operator. He previously worked at National Book Network in Blue Ridge Summit and more recently at Knouse Foods Co-op. Chambersburg.

He was a member of the Waynesboro Fish & Game Association and former member of the Waynesboro and South Mountain Volunteer Fire Companies. He enjoyed remote control cars, building models and fishing. His family recalls his knack of lifting one’s spirits and bringing a smile and support to others in times of need.

Surviving with his wife, Heather, are 2 stepchildren, Garrison and Gracey Dickey of Fannettsburg and nephew, Casey Masser of Waynesboro. Also surviving are his uncle, Frank Cole (Ericka) of Florida and aunts, Pat Outman of Waynesboro and Sandy Cook of Mont Alto and cousins, including Kathy Bumbaugh, with whom he recently lived, as she cared for him during his treatments for cancer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Stacey Masser and his niece, Kassidy Masser.

A celebration of life may be arranged by the family at a future date.
