Keyoung Lee Gill

1964 – 2022

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of our Keyoung Lee Gill.  A beloved and special daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Keyoung Lee was a bright spark in this world and will be deeply missed.  We were unprepared for this unexpected loss.

Keyoung Lee passed away in the Wellspan Chambersburg Hospital at 3:30 p.m. February 3, 2022, due to complications of cancer at the young age of 57, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her Mother, Keum Joon (Kim) Gill; her brother, Keyoung Chee Gill; her sisters, Keyoung Joon Gill, Keyoung Soon Gill, and Keyoung Sue McHale; her niece Aja McHale; and her great, grandniece, Jade McHale.

She was predeceased by her father, Boyd McKinley Gill, September 13, 2021, and her eldest sister, Keyoung Ja Gill.

Born December 16, 1964, in Chelsea, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Boyd McKinley Gill and Keum Joon (Kim) Gill.  She earned a Computer Science Degree and worked with this degree until she landed a position in the Attorney General's office where she worked until, due to illness, retired.

Keyoung Lee loved her family and her Yorkies more than anything.  Those who knew her were touched by her kindness and her sense of humor.  During her time with us, she made a point to always help anyone with whatever she could, never second-guessing her decision. Anyone who knows Keyoung Lee, knows that her family meant everything to her and in her eyes, each of you reading this would be a tribute to her.

Having a sister is a journey that does not end.  Keyoung Lee will be missed more than words can express.  And while she lays in peaceful sleep, she will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever in our hearts!

Private services will be held Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, PA with Pastor Ken Richards officiating.  Interment will be held at the Reformed Church Cemetery, Fannettsburg. PA.
