Layton M. Jury Jr., 77, of Mifflintown, PA, passed away in his home on June 1, 2026.

He was born August 12, 1948, in Lewistown, a son of the late Layton M. Jury Sr. and Mona E. (Schlegel) Jury.   He graduated from Juniata Joint High School in 1966 and continued his education learning computer skills at Thompson Institute in Harrisburg.

Mr. Jury spent a number of years working the front desk at the Holiday Inn in Lewistown.

As a hobby he enjoyed collecting stamps.

Surviving is 1 brother, Ronald E. Jury and his wife, Sharlene, of McAlisterville.

Interment will be private as he will be placed with his parents in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.
