Lena A. Goshorn, 99, of Blairs Mills, formerly of Mechanicsburg, entered into rest December 26, 2024, under the care of her niece and husband, Helen and Curt Snyder and hospice at the Snyder's in Newport, Perry County.

Miss Goshorn was born February 17, 1925, in Blairs Mills, a daughter of the late Edgar W. and Pearl E. (Gifford) Goshorn.

She retired after 40 years of employment with TWR Airplane Factory in Harrisburg.

While living in Mechanicsburg, Lena was very active in various ministries of the Shepherdstown United Methodist Church. Her life was one of giving and sharing.  She also was an avid gardener and loved flowers.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Wilma Pyles and brothers, Wayne, Budd and Jack Goshorn.  Surviving are nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tues., December 31, 2024 at 10 AM in the Shade Valley Cemetery (Book Cemetery), just South of Richvale on Route 35, with Rev. Sophia A.
