Marvin M. Adams, 83, of Willow Hill passed away on Friday April 12, 2024, at the Mercy House of Chambersburg.  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Donna (Goshorn) Adams.

Born October 5, 1940, in Chambersburg PA, he was the son of the late Clarence and Marie (Miller) Adams of Willow Hill. Marvin was a 1959 graduate of the Fannett-Metal School District.

He was a member of the Lower Path Valley Presbyterian Church, where he held office and was involved with the session as well as an assistant youth superintendent. He most recently attended the Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his wife, Donna, he is survived by two sons, William, (wife, Georgia) and James, (wife, Cathy), all of Willow Hill; five grandchildren, Elizabeth, (husband, Brouck) Dean of Dillsburg, Nikki Daihl of Spring Run, Brandon, (wife Katlyn) Adams of Willow Hill, Jodi, (husband, Alex) McClain of Beaufort, SC and Jamie, (husband, Chris) Rosenberry of Willow Hill and four great grandchildren, Paisley and Graham Adams, Colt Carson, and Traxler Rosenberry.

​Marvin was a second-generation dairy farmer, who was raised on the family farm in Willow Hill, he also worked for the Pennsylvania Turnpike commission for 14 years. He held offices with the farm bureau and was awarded a plaque "In appreciation for outstanding service to the Future Farmers of America."  He was the 1983 conservation Farmer of the Year, awarded by the Franklin County Conservation District.

Marvin was a man of few words, but when he spoke, people listened. He was passionate about farming and enjoyed sharing his knowledge with those around him. He was a humble man, who strived for a successful Harvest and to ensure that his family knew God. It was important to him that his family believed and gave their lives to Christ.

Services will be held in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, on Tuesday, April 16th at 11:00 AM., with Rev. Dr. Meagan M. Boozer and Pastor Darwin Goshorn officiating.   Visitation will be held one hour prior. Marvin will be laid to rest at the Upper Path Valley Cemetery.
