Patsy A. Hockenberry, 80, of East Waterford, went to be with the Lord, April 29, 2023, in UPMC West Shore, Mechanicsburg.  She was the wife of Merle D. Hockenberry and they would have observed their 25 ^th wedding anniversary on May 24 ^th .  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Oliver LeRoy Hockenberry, in 1992.

Born May 15, 1942, in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Dennie David and Margaret Christine (Hammond) Seibert.

Patsy was formerly employed as a cook at Aprontree Personal Care.

She attended Spring Run Bible Church and faithfully supported missions, as well as donating to charities.

Patsy is fondly remembered as a devoted homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, as there was nothing she loved more than her family.  She will also be greatly missed by many friends, who loved her dearly.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, Merle, are 4 children, Timothy Hockenberry (Crystal) and Bonnie Harnish, all of McConnellsburg, Jeff Hockenberry and Brenda Seibert both of Chambersburg, and 3 stepchildren, Fred Hockenberry (Sandy) of Alabama, Eva Rhodes, of McConnellsburg and Michael Hockenberry of Burnt Cabins.  Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Additional survivors include 5 brothers, Fred Seibert, (Paulene), of Spring Run, Dennis Seibert (Velda) of Three Springs, Ronald Seibert (Margaret) of Orbisonia, Gary Seibert (Carol) of Spring Run and Rick Seibert (Trudy) of Shade Gap and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her first husband, Oliver, she was also preceded in death by a stepson, Robert Hockenberry, 3 stepdaughters, Pat Shatzer, Barbara Clark and Lois Hammond and a step daughter-in-law, Linda Hockenberry.

Her viewing will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 between 6 and 8 PM and again Friday, 10 AM until the time of the service at 11, in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, with Pastor John Semple officiating.  Interment Path Valley Cemetery.    www.agettlakjer.com
