Paul R. Gottfried, 60, of Chambersburg, passed away June 17, 2024 in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born October 8, 1963, in Neeah, Wisconsin, he was a son of the late Daniel J. and Mildred C. (Schmerein) Gottfried.   He served in the Navy from 1984 until honorably discharged in 1987.

Paul was employed as a mechanic at Letterkenny Army Depot until his illness.

He had attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg and was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan.

Surviving is a son, Kyle D. Gottfried, his wife, Ashley, and grandson, Waylon of Shippensburg, 2 brothers, John R. and Daniel D. Gottfried and a sister, Victoria A. Reeve.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Chris A. Oyler and brothers, David A., William D. and Michael D. Gottfried.
