Paul W. McClure, 91, of Horse Valley Road, East Waterford, Perry County, went home to the Lord on May 26, 2026, in Chambersburg Hospital. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Edith (Flood) McClure in April of 2024.

Paul was born December 21, 1934, in Richvale, Huntingdon County, the oldest of 6 children born to the late John Wesley and Margaretta (Smith) McClure.  He formerly lived in the Eastern section of Pennsylvania and worked at the Norristown State Hospital.

Following his retirement as a truck driver for Miquon serving the food industry in PA, NY and NJ, he worked for his  brother, Dave, at McClure Landscaping in Chambersburg.

Paul was a member of the Dry Run Covenant Brethren Church and the Blairs Mills Lions Club for many years. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding his tractor about, especially to the mountains.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Esther M. Carey (Kevin) of Phoenixville, PA and Paula Beaston (Glenn) of Horse Valley, 4 grandchildren, Shawn Beaston, Shana Proctor (Russell), Ryan Carey (Stephanie) and Sgt. Kyle Carey, (Rosemary) and 6 great grandchildren, Gia, Zoey and Tripp Proctor;  Luke, Murphy and Riley Carey.  Also surviving are his brothers, David McClure, of Chambersburg and Terry McClure, of East Waterford, and 2 sisters, Helen Taylor (Harold) and Delores Hockenberry, all of Shippensburg.  In addition to his wife, Edith, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Carl.

His Memorial Service will be held in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, Friday, June 5, 2026 at 11 AM, where the family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service.  Pastor Devin Fink and John Mitchell will officiate.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.  The family requests the omission of flowers and suggest donations in Paul's memory be made to Blair Mills Lions Club, c/o Jane Shearer, Sect., 727 Old Mill Road, East Waterford, PA  17021              www agettlakjer.com
