Ramona "Monie" Mae Freet, 64, went to be with our Lord peacefully, surrounded by loving family, in her Fannettsburg home on March 26, 2021 at 2:55 AM.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Coons on December 1, 1997 and later by her companion, Earl Long.

Born in Chambersburg November 13, 1956, she was a daughter of the late Ernest W. and Isabell E. (Boggs) Freet.

Ramona was a dearly beloved caregiver working in healthcare for many years.

Surviving are 2 sons: Michael S. Freet of Shippensburg and Jason L. Freet of Fannettsburg; 5 grandchildren: Mikell McGee, Bailey Freet, Daisha Freet and twins Serenity and Divinity Freet.  2 sisters: Leona E. Zentner (Ted) of Middleburg, FL and Charlotte M. Goshorn of Fannettsburg, also surviving is a brother-in-law, Mark Foust of Wellsboro.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra D. Foust.  Additional survivors, nieces: Brandi Detweiler, Ashley Bard, Tina Staniszewiski, Lisa Batten and Tawyana Lake; nephews Dylan Goshorn, Joshuwa Walls, James Freet, Mark and Nathan Foust along with Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

The family would like to recognize the exceptional care provided by nieces Brandi and Ashley who hardly ever left her side and Tana Martin for the unconditional love and support throughout this difficult time.  We would also like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to Heartland Hospice team Ryan, Marcia, Adam, and Amanda who provided exceptional care to both Monie and the family.  We will forever be grateful.  Thank you for your dedication.

Her viewing will be held in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, Tuesday, March 30 between 3 and 5 PM followed by a service at 5 PM  with hospice chaplain, Adam Sewell, officiating.   Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers donations to help defray expenses may be given to the family or funeral home.  wwwagettlakjer.com
