Randy Lee Greenland, 61, entered into rest, February 13, 2022, at his home in Dry Run.  He was the husband of 39 years to Lori S. (Shaw) Greenland.

Born August 15, 1960, in Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of Helen Mae (Runk) Greenland of Three Springs and the late Edwin Duane Greenland.  He graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School in 1978.

Mr. Greenland served 2 periods of enlistment in the U.S. Navy and attended Builder Class "A" School. He was Honorably Discharged as a BU2 in 1987.

Randy had a long career in construction, first working in heavy highway construction with New Enterprise Stone and Lime for over 20 years.  He continued his employment at Susquehanna Valley Construction Corp in New Cumberland, followed by Halteman Home Improvement, Orrstown and was currently working for Boulder Masonry in Newburg.

He formerly attended Upper Tuscarora Presbyterian Church, Waterloo and Upper Path Valley Presbyterian Church, Spring Run. He served as a Leader of Boy Scout Troop 250, Spring Run, for 23 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, is a son, Jeremiah N. Greenland and his wife, Rebecca, of Newburg; 2 grandchildren, Clay Curtis Greenland and Jolene Reese Patton and a brother, Ronald Greenland and his wife, Cindy, of Liverpool.  Additional survivors include a niece, Jacinda Kessler and nephews, Matthew Fontenot and Joshua & Zachary Greenland and a brother-in-law, Mike Fontenot. Two sisters, Bonnie L. Fontenot and Deborah K. Parsons preceded him in death.

His funeral service will be held Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, at 10 AM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, with Rev. Dr. Meagan M. Boozer, officiating. Viewing Thursday 5-7 PM and Friday, 1 hour prior to the service.  Interment with military honors Shade Valley Cemetery, Richvale, PA.   www.agettlakjer.com
