Rebecca Leann Kennedy, 40, of Greencastle, passed away March 11, 2024, in Waynesboro Hospital.

She was born June 4, 1983, in Waynesboro, a daughter of Margaret (Grady) Kennedy Kuhn, who survives of Burnt Cabins, PA and the late Ronald L. Kennedy, Sr.  Her stepfather, Terry L. Kuhn also survives of Burnt Cabins.

Rebecca was educated in Greencastle Schools, along with home schooling and studying computer science in Vo-tech.  She had been an office worker for Volvo in Shippensburg and earlier, was manager of the Sheetz store, Greencastle.  In addition, she had also been employed as an assembly line worker at World Kitchen in Greencastle.

Rebecca was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.  She was remembered as a kind person who always thought of others.  She especially loved her son, Ayden Head, of Greencastle.

In addition to her son, Ayden, mother and stepfather, she is survived by 2 sisters, Wendy Lee Shank (Rodney) of Hagerstown, MD and Kerry S. Hoverter (Travis) of Chambersburg and 1 brother, Ronald L.A. Kennedy, Jr. of Carsonville, MI and nieces and nephews.

Along with her father, she was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Amber Dawn Kennedy.
