Renee L. Anderson, 61, passed away, April 27, 2026, at home in East Freedom, PA, surrounded by her wife, Oona (Shaw) Anderson and other loved ones, after a long hard-fought battle with cancer. Born September 11, 1964, in Huntingdon, she is a daughter of Larry and Linda (Fleck) Anderson, of Burnt Cabins. She was a light to everyone she touched.

She was a 1981 graduate of Southern Huntingdon High School and went on to graduate from The Art Institute of Philadelphia in 1985.

Renee was previously employed at Blair County Community Action Program as an SSI/SSDI Representative Payee in Altoona, PA. Prior to that, she worked as a Quality Control Co-Ordinator for Ventura Foods in Chambersburg, PA for 11 years.

Renee's true passion was art. She loved painting with watercolors and had recently mastered colored pencils.

Surviving in addition to her wife, Oona, and parents, Larry and Linda are fur babies, Chloe and Civic, her two brothers, Aaron (Tammy) of Ft. Loudon and Justin (Brenda) of St. Thomas; also many uncles, aunts, a multitude of nieces of nephews and too many friends that were "family" to mention.

The family will receive friends, Wed., May 6, 2026, from 12 Noon until the time of Service at 1 PM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, with Pastor Matthew Robinson, officiating.
