Richard E. Wolfe, 76, of Roxbury, formerly of Shippensburg, passed away September 13, 2024, in Chambersburg Hospital.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 47 years, Dora Mae (Dunkle) Wolfe on August 17, 2021.

Born August 10, 1948, in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Elwood and Mabel (Wingert) Wolfe.  He graduated from Shippensburg High School in 1967 and retired from Ingersoll Rand (Volvo) in 2006.

Mr. Wolfe was a member of the American Legion Post 232, Spring Run and the Hub City Club, Shippensburg.

A master builder, he is fondly remembered as constructing his homes and cabin not only with his talents, but also with love and dreams.   In addition, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing.

Surviving is a daughter, Sherry Cianciulli (Victor) of Shippensburg and son, Daniel T. Wolfe of Roxbury, 5 grandchildren, Brianna (Danny), Ben, Bryon, Trinity, and Christopher and 2 great granddaughters, Avery and Dora May.  In addition to his wife, Dora Mae, he was also preceded in death by a brother, William Wolfe.
