Bob Stahlman, age 71, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Saturday evening, April 22, 2023, surrounded by his family.

He was born, August 24, 1951, in Oil City, PA to the late Charles Stahlman and Delores (Watson) Stillings. He was a graduate of Oil City High School. On February 14, 1970, he married Sandra (Sandy) (Foy) Stahlman. Together they shared 53 years of marriage. Bob was a loving father to their children: Robert (Bobby) Stahlman Jr. (deceased) and his wife, Kelli, of Rochester, NY, Marc Stahlman (deceased), and Sara Woolf and her husband, Jim, of Chambersburg, PA.

Bob spent most of his life in Oil City, PA. He was a superb athlete who excelled in high school sports and later enjoyed many years playing in various leagues in his community, including flag football, softball, and golf. Bob worked for 38 years at Klapec Trucking Company, spending many of those years as the Operations Manager. Additionally, he and Sandy owned and operated BS Brewbusters in Oil City for 20 years (1991-2010). During that time Bob was an avid member of the area Men's Pool League. Bob was a huge sports fan who loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. He coached many of his sons' sports teams throughout the years. However, the thing that gave him the most pride was watching his grandchildren compete in sports.

Bob was a jack of all trades. He loved fixing up his home by completing many DIY projects. He was a talented artist and a fantastic problem solver. Bob endured many loves, losses, triumphs and sacrifices during his lifetime. He was a rock to his family and a true friend to many. Together with Sandy, their home was always open to everyone and anyone. Bob was a hard worker and good provider, but his top priority in life was enjoying quality time with his family and friends.

After retiring in 2018, he and Sandy moved to Homosassa, FL where Bob enjoyed deep sea fishing, his cornhole league, and spending time with family and friends.

In 2021 Bob and Sandy moved to Chambersburg, PA to be close to family. He had 10 grandchildren that he was incredibly proud of: Landon and Lizzi Stahlman of Rochester, NY, TJ Stahlman of Phoenix, AZ, Nathan Stahlman of Enola, PA, Madelyn (Kyle) Culbertson, Olivia, Hanna, Nadia, Gabriel, and Marc Woolf of Chambersburg, PA. Also, visits with his two great grandchildren, Weston and Cash Culbertson, always put a smile on his face.

Bob was blessed with 8 siblings whom he shared a wonderful friendship with throughout his life: Laurie Mallon of Homosassa, FL, Patricia Whitbeck (Bill) of Rushville, NY, Alice Phelps (Bill) of Stanley, NY, Janet Mattison (Adam) of Clifton Springs, NY, Jimmy Stahlman (deceased), Terri Stahlman of Oil City, PA, Mike (Stump) Stahlman (deceased), and Amy Graham (Matt) of Phoenix, AZ. He meant the world to his numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him immensely.

Additionally, he was preceded in death by many other family members, and he was anxiously anticipating his reunion with each of them.
