Robert R. Ickes, 57, of Spring Run, formerly of Fannettsburg, passed away October 24, 2022, in his home.

Born September 30, 1965, in McConnellsburg, he was a son of the late Herman F. and Ivy May (Umbrell) Ickes, and graduated from Fannett-Metal High School in 1984.

He formerly was employed at Burger Kings in Chambersburg and more recently worked in sawmilling in Path Valley.  He enjoyed the Path Valley Speedway and going fishing.

Surviving is a sister, Linda M. Ickes and a brother, David H. Ickes and his wife, Darlene, all of Shippensburg, and a nephew, Derrick Ickes, of Mt. Laurel, NJ.

The family will receive friends in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 1 PM followed by the service at 2 PM, with Pastor Ryan Henderson officiating.  Interment Lower Path Valley Cemetery, Fannettsburg.   www.agettlakjer.com
