Robert Carl "Rosie" Rosenberry, 72, a life long resident of Dry Run, went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2023.  He was the husband of Kathryn (Boone) Rosenberry; they celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on July 7.

Born November 15, 1950, in Dry Run, he was a son of the late Robert Virgil and Alberta Jane (Berrier) Rosenberry.  He attended Fannett-Metal School and served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Rosenberry had 25 years of Federal Service and retired as a truck driver from Letterkenny Army Depot in 1997.

He was a member of American Legion Post 223 and Durff-Kuhn VFW Post 6168 in Shippensburg.  Rosie enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an enthusiastic sportsman with many trophies.

Most important in Rosie's life was the love of his family and his strong and devoted faith in the Lord and he is remembered as an avid Bible reader.

Surviving with his wife, Kathryn, is a daughter, Bobbi DeAnn Morrow and her fiance', Travis M. Pryor of Falling Waters, WV and a son, Ryan James Rosenberry and his fiancee', Erin Michelle Fruhwrith and Erin's son, Aidan Joshua Martinez, of Shiremantown, PA.  Additional survivors include, 3 granddaughters, Katlynn Susan Cole, Aselynn Elaine Rosenberry,  Savannah Marie Rosenberry and a brother, David Lee Rosenberry of Dry Run.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Kay Clouser, a brother, James Edward Rosenberry and a son-in-law, Jeffrey Lynn Morrow.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, July 15, at 11 AM in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, with Pastor Marlin "Butch" Neil, officiating.  Viewing Friday from 6 to 8 PM and Sat. between 10 and 11 AM prior to the service.  Interment with Military Honors in Path Valley Cemetery.
