Roger L. "Blub" Wood, 69, of Fannettsburg, passed away March 20, 2024, in Doey's House Hospice of Washington County, Hagerstown, MD.

Born November 25, 1954, in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Frank W. and Betty (Malone) Wood.  He attended Fannett-Metal Schools.

As a young man, he worked at the former Blacks Lumber in Chambersburg until taking employment with Ryan Zeigler car restorations.  Roger enjoyed fixing up old cars.  He then went to work for Domestic Pump and Castings in Shippensburg, until his last position as an attendant at Jeff's Auto & Truck Service, Willow Hill.

Surviving is a nephew, Lance W. Wood and his wife, Danielle, and a niece, Stacey Thompson all of Roaring Spring and many friends.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Larry, in 2016 and William, in 2023.

A viewing will be held in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run, Sunday, March 24, 2024, after 1 PM, followed by the funeral service and time of sharing at 2 PM, with Pastor Darwin Goshorn, officiating.   Interment in Lower Path Valley Cemetery will be at a later date.   www.agettlakjer.com
