Roger C. L. Kern, age 68, of Millerstown, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024 at his residence.

He was born on Thursday, August, 30, 1956, in Lancaster, PA, a son of the late Helen P. Knisely and Robert F. Kern.

He was a graduate of Steelton High School, class of 1974.

Prior to retirement, he was a machinist for Bethlehem Steel in Steelton, before its closure and then was self-employed as a general contractor.

He was known for his ability to tinker, build and fix things.

He is survived by his three children Oran E. Kern of Liverpool, Arianna P. Charles of Millerstown, and Evan R. Kern of Millerstown; two brothers Nevin H. W. Kern and John A. J. Kern; three sisters Naomi "Dollie" R. Roush, Barbara K. Dupler, and Cheryl O. Oberdorff; and 5 granddaughters.   He was preceded in death by his parents.
