Ronald L. "Ronnie" Lininger, 66, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, in his Chambersburg home with his family by his side.  Born September 6, 1957, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Burrall) Lininger.

He worked at TB Woods, tended bar at Jim's Tavern in Greencastle, as well as at the Marine Corp, the American Legion, and the VFW in Chambersburg.  Later he was the manager of both the American Legion and the VFW in Chambersburg.  He also worked at Carlisle Tire and Wheel Company and in 2009, retired on disability from Volvo in Shippensburg.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Kim I. (Mallory) Lininger, two brothers, Jerry Lininger and Mike Lininger of Chambersburg and his sister, Jenny Bittinger of Key West Florida.  He was preceded in death by three sisters, Jeanie Lininger, Louise Lininger and Nancy Wagner, all from Chambersburg and two brothers, Richard Lininger from Waynesboro and Robert Lininger from Carlisle.

Ronnie was a lifelong resident of Chambersburg and graduated from Chambersburg High School in 1975.

He loved playing golf, basketball, football, and baseball.  He also loved going to Myrtle Beach and playing as many golf courses as possible.  He was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan and Penn State fan.  In his younger years, he was a member of the Chambersburg American Legion, Amvets, Elks, VFW, and Marine Corp.
