Rosalie Elizabeth Yocum, 89, went home to her Lord and Savior on January 7, 2025, in Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA, where she resided since August, 2019.  She was formerly of Doylesburg and Dry Run. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Denton Yocum, in 1985.

Rosalie was born September 27, 1935, in Dry Run, a daughter of the late Thomas M. and Hazel M. (Reed) Collins.  She graduated from school in Dry Run and was a caretaker and meticulous homemaker.

She was a member of the Secret Sisters in Path Valley and formerly attended Spring Run United Methodist Church.   Her family recalls in her younger years she loved to dance and share in holiday gatherings and is fondly remembered for her love of cooking and baking.  She also loved dogs and going to yard sales, but family and grandchildren brought her the most joy.

Surviving are 2 sons, David M. Zeigler, (Pat) of Waynesboro and Timothy F. Zeigler, (Donna) of Dry Run; 4 grandchildren, Andy Zeigler, (Rhonda), Adam Zeigler, Nova Breon, (Jim) and Renae Swailes, (Carl), 11 great-grandchildren, Logan, Lindsay, Aden, Atlee, Ava Rose, Larissa, Cindy, Robbie, Becky, Tori and Mandy and several great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas W. Collins, in 2011 and a sister, Thelma C. Reeder, in December, 2024.

Her viewing will be Monday, Jan. 13, 2025 at 11 AM followed by the funeral service at 12 Noon in the Agett-Lakjer Funeral Home, 16715 Path Valley Road, Spring Run with Pastor John Semple officiating.  Interment will be at a later date in Doylesburg Cemetery.   www.agettlakjer.com
