Russel J. Pine, 82 of Fort Loudon PA passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at home.

He was born July 8,1942, in Mercersburg, PA, the son of the late Harry J. and Gladys (Bowers) Pine.

He attended James Buchanan High School, worked at Grove Manufacturing for twenty years as a welder, and thirty plus years as a truck driver for Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe.

He loved working on and building hot rod cars. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, woodcarving and playing poker, plus spending time with his loving canine, Lady.

Russel is survived by his son, Rodney J. Pine and wife, Michelle; two daughters, Gerri L. Hahn and husband, Bob, and Lisa D. Hahn and husband, Rick; his sister, Betty L (Pine) Bender; two grandsons: Brandon S. and Jacob T. Hahn and granddaughter, Ashley J. Pine.

In addition to his parents, Russel was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 2 brothers and his dearly beloved wife, Shirley A. (North) Pine.

A private family service will be held for Russel at a future date.
